| Description of works | 【Can you find the auspicious double-headed lotus on the dish?】 On white porcelain works produced by the Ding Kiln, designs of tsuzure-ori (tapestry weaving) patterns and other patterns often found on metallic vessels are applied using the inka (pottery stamping) technique. In the center, an auspicious double-headed lotus (two flowers blooming on one stem) is placed. This special lotus is surrounded by more lotus flowers and a raimon (thunder pattern) chain, with peonies around it, all with a delicate touch. |
