Description of worksThis series of rice bowls is one of the signature designs of the potter MORI Masahiro. Unbound by convention, he designed these bowls with the concept of achieving good usability so that they would be used more frequently. To that end, they are shallow and wide-mouthed, achieving versatile tableware that can be used not only for serving rice but also other dishes. They come in a variety of colors and patterns for the users to enjoy the look as well. Each bowl, made in molds, is hand-painted by the artisans, adding warmth to the objects. Initially consisting of only 12 varieties, the series expanded to about 300 designs, making it a long-selling favorite.
