| 作品解説 | 自分は彫刻が置かれるその場所と環境・空間の相互関係の構成に非常に興味がある。彫刻の存在はその置かれた環境に強く影響される。 環境を突き詰めて行くと、全方位的な環境スペクトルは、ある場所と空間の相互関係の範囲と言える。如何なる芸術表現は、より広範囲に発生し取り囲まれたその空間を理解する事の結果である。広く解釈するなら、作品の存在はその置かれ支えられる環境に関わり、故に環境は芸術の存在意義と芸術の創造と同意語である。 I am especially interested in the correlation-structure of place-environment-space terms. Necessarily the existence of the sculpture is highly dependent upon its environment. Assuming that we extend the term 'environment' to be defined as a "multidimensional milieu-spectrum" , a domain with a spatiotemporal correlation to a point (a place), accordingly any artistic manifestation would result more widely in its genesis and the understanding of this environment. By extension, it is supposable that the existence of a work of art primarily depends on its milieu; therefore, its environment would determine the existence of the work of art as the work of art itself. |
