| 作品解説 | 近年、動物に工事現場の足場を組み合わせた作品を制作している。多くの動物には自然が与えた魅力的なフォルムを感じ、足場には構成的な美しさを感じることが多い。動物の有機的なフォルムと無機的な足場の形が、ひとつの形に組み合わされることに違和感を覚えるかと思うが、私たちの周りにはこのような組み合わせは多くあるように思う。この異なる二つを組み合わせる事により自然の形と人の造形の組み合わせの美しさについて何か見えてくるものがあるのではないだろうか。 An animal's natural form is powerful, while scaffolding gives off feeling of structural beauty. One might be surprised by the joining of the organic form of the animal and the inorganic shape of the scaffolding, but around us such joining are many. By joining the creation of these two, the natural shape of a person and the beauty of something man-made, perhaps a connection can be seen. |
