| 作品解説 | 作家のことば 生き物の形の豊かさや多様性に魅かれ、触れながら作っている時、自分自身という受け手を創っていたことに気づかされる。 あらゆるものの印象はそれぞれが発する固有の特徴というより、もう少し「人」の側にあり、委ねられているように思う。人は外側の世界という環境から多くを与えられているのではなく、自らの受け取り方によって生きているということを表現できたらと思っている。 作品は、自然の源を予感させる「うず」を背負ったカタツムリに、光や波、星などを配し、子供たちが生きものの重みを感じて暮らしてゆくことをイメージして制作しました。 Concept Drawn to and touching on the abundant and diverse forms of living things, I noticed that I was creating myself as the recipient. An impression of each thing is not given from their individual inherent features, but rather entrusted a bit more on the human side. I would like to express that humans are not merely receiving many things from the environment of the outside world, but rather express their existence by the way they accept their environment. The piece is a snail carrying on its back whirlpool foreboding the source of nature with light, waves, stars and other things to make children feel the importance of life as they live their lives. |
