| 作品解説 | 具象彫刻界では神戸具象彫刻大賞展などで活躍してきたベテラン。顔の表情など細部を表現した人体像ではないが、マントをはおった人体像を簡潔にピラミッド形に集約し、そのうえ、群像に三人三様の動きと連関性をもたせたところがいい。寒風の中の生活を描く「北国シリーズ」の作品で、市民社会の個性ある共同性みたいなものを象徴する作品である。 The seasoned sculptor has been active in figurative sculpture circles, such as Kobe Figurative Sculpture Exhibition. In this work, facial expressions and other details are omitted from the human figures, but the three figures, simply represented in pyramid shapes, make respective movements while sharing common features to successfully establish mutual connections. It is part of the “Northern Country Series” featuring life in cold and harsh wind, which epitomizes the communality unique to each civil society. |
