| 作品解説 | 鳥の形をとりながら、かたちとはもう一つ別の表情を象徴させるところがうまい。ハヤブサ？それともタカ類のような猛禽類か？ブロンズの形態はつま先立っていままさに風に抗して飛び立たんばかりだが、顔部の表情からするとその眼はしっかりと一直線に獲物へと向けられている。そこには彼らの厳しい生態がとらえられている。 The sculpture skillfully takes the form of a bird while symbolizing another thing. Could it be a falcon, or another kind of bird of prey, like a hawk? The bronze figure stands on tiptoe and seems to about to take a flight against the strong wind, while its facial expression tells us that it fixes its gaze on its prey straight ahead. The harsh reality of the wild life is neatly captured in the piece. |
