| 作品解説 | 荒削りの石の台座上に空洞の正方形のアルミ箱がすえられ、その箱を持ち上げるように貫ぬかれた1本のそりのある角棒が上空へと突き出ている。宙に見えない何者かのエネルギーが棒で箱を持ち上げているかのようなユーモラスな力学が見えかくれするが、この作品を契機に清新で切れ味鋭い「そりのあるかたち」シリーズが展開されはじめていく。 A hollow aluminum box sits on a roughly shaved stone plinth, on which a warped square bar thrusting and lifting the box protrudes skywards. A humorous dynamism, as if something in the air is trying to lift up the box with the bar with its invisible energy, is partially recognizable. The work inspired the subsequent development of the fresh and edgy “Warped Shape” series by the sculptor. |
