| 作品解説 | 左右にへだたって座す対照的な表情の二基の石、その間に水平の鉄板が橋渡され、中央付近に小さな錆びたピラミッドがちょこんとのっかっている。左側の半ば腰をかがめながら立つ石はその背に荷（数枚の鉄板の積層）を背負った人の姿にも見えてくる。したがって、左右の石は人と自然の関係を想わせ、さらに二つの石に支えられた鉄材とピラミッドは、人間の労働と文明の関係のようなものに想いを走らせる。湖水を背景に立つそれら「関係の造形化」がいっそう雄大な美しさを象徴している。 Two contrasting stones, keeping a distance from each other, is mounted with a horizontal iron plate bridging the two. In the middle of the bridge, there is a tiny, rusty pyramid. The semi-crouched stone on the left seems like a human carrying a heavy load (several layers of iron plates) on its back. Thus, the two stones on the left and right reminds us of the relation between humans and the nature, while the iron material and a pyramid supported by the two stones remind us of the relationship between human labor and civilization. Standing against the backdrop of the lake, “the relationship expressed in a form” embodies more grandeur beauty. |
