Comment | Two-tone of translucent cobalt blue and colorless translucent glasses is impressive for this handled jug. Style of the handle and the shape of the vase imitate metal vase. Combining the translucent cobalt blue glass to mold-blown colorless translucent glass and slow-cooling not to break would have been very difficult. This specimen is considered to have been made in northern Iran, and very important example because of its rarity. |
