高坏 【pedestaled dish】

遺跡所在地長岡市
解説長岡市横山遺跡出土の弥生時代後期の高坏。最大径は18.2cm、高さは13cm。高坏は弥生時代になってから作られるようになった器で盛りつけ用の土器と考えられている。木製のものもあった。

It is unearthen from Yokoyama site. Nagaoka. a clay pedestaled dish of late-Yayoi period. Maximum diameter :18.2 cm, height 13 cm. It is considerd that pedestaled dish might used the dish-up- tableware.
