DescriptionThe tiger, standing firm with her forepaws and raising her head, her eyes bulging, has long eyelashes and bares her fangs, making her look caricatural. However, the lingzhi clouds and the two herons standing back to back with a single lotus flower in between deliver a mysterious, spiritual atmosphere. On the remaining space of the wall, three bamboos are depicted in a dynamic, single brushstroke, adding another attractive element to this jar. It has long been highly praised as a prominent masterpiece of the Joseon dynasty.
