From the blood on the sword, yet other deities appeared, including Takemikazuchi and other kami related to thunder, fire, and swordmaking. Later, Kojiki records that the kami Omoikane suggested Ohabari as the third envoy to be sent from the Plain of High Heaven to the Central Land of Reed Plains, but Ohabari was ensconced in the Rock Cave of Heaven at the headwaters of the River of Heaven and had dammed the rivers flow, so his son Takemikazuchi was nominated instead.
