| Concept | 全てにおいて、残るものがある。 振り向いてみるとそれまで辿ってきた自分の足跡が残っている。 生命活動が停止することと、人の存在が消えることは同意義ではなく またその存在は消えたとしても、その『跡』は残っていくのだろう。 思い出や写真、手紙、風習、遺伝子、様々なカタチやモノを媒体として人はその存在が消えるまでにいくつの足跡を残せるのだろうか…。 All things leave something behind. Turn around and you'll see your footsteps up to where you are. The halting of a life does not mean that that person ceases to exist. And even if he or she does disappear, "a mark" is left behind. How many marks can we leave behind, through various shapes and things, such as memories, photos, letters, customs and genes, until we leave this earth? |
