| Concept | 現代に生きる私たちは、多くの情報を瞬時に得ることができ、コミュニケーションの方法も多様化している。この多様化した状況によって、人と人、国と国の境界がなくなり、自在に繋がることが可能になりつつある。しかし、一方で超えられない境界があるのではないだろうか。それでも私たちはその境界を越えて、新たな出会い、関係を作り出すべきなのだと思う。 今回ワイヤーを使用し、境界を制作する。この境界は決して強固な存在ではなく、はかなくもろい境界である。この作品が、このときわ公園と関係を持つことで成立するように、この作品と鑑賞される方々がどのような関係を持つことができるかを期待している。 In our current society, we can get information instantly, and methods of communication have diversified. Because of this diversification, the borders between people and countries have disappeared, and it is possible to connect freely. But maybe there are borders which cannot be crossed. In spite of that, we should cross those borders, meet new people and make new connections. In this work, I used wire to make borders. These borders are not stable, they are fleeting and fragile. I am hoping that this work's relationship with Tokiwa Park will help form it, and I am looking forward to seeing what kind of a relationship this work will have with its viewers. |
