The sculptor has been specialized in producing intriguing open-air sculptures incorporating interactive elements (see “Space of Thought” from the 3rd Exhibition). In this work, the traveling sun is incorporated in the set of stones as a third party. The piece consists of four stones, of which the two are tall pillars facing and standing close to each other and forming a gate, while the other two smaller stones are placed near the ground. One of the smaller stones, placed farthest away from the pillar, has a cross section cut in a perfect circle, serving as a mirror to catch rays of the sun projected through the round hole at the top of the gate. As the sun culminates at different heights with the changing seasons, the stones present different shades in response.
