The scenery featuring a large rectangular iron box, floating midair and faintly swaying in the air, strikes us with the sense of wonder but at the same time reminds us of our life, calmly and complacently present. The title may be different, but this piece is another merger (docking) of opposite elements – the solid iron, the moving wind, and the landscape. Because the mirror-polished stainless-steel pillar blends and disappears in the surrounding landscape, the presence of the iron box hanging midair singularly stands out. A specially designed hanging device made of knitted wires is incorporated within the structure to generate the swinging motion.
