| Concept | 通りがかりにふと出会ったとき、地中の両側から回転しながらせり出してきたダイナミックな動きに、人は一瞬の緊張を強いられるだろう。螺旋状に切られた形態感が、しかも地中から出現したことで不意をつかれるのである。薄いステンレス板を鋲で二枚合わせにして、切口に厚味をもとせたところが、いっそう形態感に鋭さを加えている。 Passersby caught unawares by the sculpture, dynamically rotating and emerging from the both sides of the ground, may briefly freeze in forced tension. The vortex, cut in spiral shapes and suddenly emerging from the ground, take viewers by surprise. The thickness of the cut edges of nailed and combined two thin stainless-steel plates add extra sharpness to the form. |
