A Dipole

As a prominent figure in the lighting design and other areas, the artist stands apart from the rest in Japan in the handling of light and reflection. By combining a mirror-finished stainless disk at the bottom and two curved glass plates joining from sides to form a conical shape, the sculptor fully demonstrated artistry in establishing a distinctive scenery. The reflection of clouds traveling across the mirror surface, added with the surroundings projected through the inflected glasses, creates a dipolar and triple-layered complex space on and above the ground. The artist knows how to attract light.
