| Concept | 中心部へ向けて薄く盛り上がるジュラルミン製の円盤が芝生の中に設置されている。中心部は地下へ向けて丸く窪み、その底をのぞくと磨かれた鏡面がしつらえてあって真青な空が映っている。つまり大地と大空がこの円盤を媒介にして同居しているわけである。観客は地底をのぞきながら同時に天空をも眺めるという奇妙な体験をさせられることによって、天と地のあいだの人間の位置（居場所や立場）も同時に気づくのである。 A duralumin disk on the lawn is slightly raised towards the center. There is a round and deep dent in the center of the disk. As you look down into the bottom of the dent, you will find a polished mirror, reflecting the blue sky above. In other words, the earth and the vast sky coexist with the disk as the medium. Through the bizarre experience of looking down into the ground to find the sky above, we realize where humankind stands – in terms of location and position – between the heaven and the earth. |
