The shape, rotating and extending towards the sky, kindles a hope in viewers’ heart, like burgeoning of a plant. The sculptor, a participant in the 3rd Sao Paulo Biennale in 1955, was a leading figure in the sculpture scene in 1950s and 1960s. He also consecutively joined the 1st and 2nd Contemporary Japanese Sculpture Exhibition in Ube City, showcasing his artistic vigor. |
